Maggi Goreng Mamak Recipe

Fried maggi is one of the most popular dishes among Malaysians when going to a mamak restaurant. Maggi noodles have been a favorite snack of many since the 1970s and are now a major instant noodle brand.

If at home usually, maggi noodles are eaten as a soup dish but when going to a mamak restaurant, many will choose to get fried maggi noodles. There are various ways and recipes for fried Maggi according to the tastes of different people.

Here I share how I prepare Maggi fried mamak with some special tips and hints. Among them, onions and chillies need to be cooked properly and Maggi flavoring spices should not be fried too long over a high heat.

Ingredients for Maggi Goreng Mamak

2 much maggi snow (Separate the seasoning powder)
1 small onion seeds finely sliced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 sliced ​​red chili
1 green chilli seeds sliced
3 teaspoon ground chilli
2 an egg
A little mustard (30g)
1 tomato seeds cut in half

Method

  1. Heat a little oil and sauté the onions. Followed by garlic. When the onions start to turn yellow on the edges, add red and green chili, chillies can be added or subtracted according to your taste.
  2. Fry until the stir fry ingredients are dry and add 3 teaspoon ground chilli. If you like spicy fried maggi, you can add ground chilli.
  3. Cook until the chillies are a little dark. Add a little water so that the chillies can cook properly without scorching.
  4. Add the maggi curry seasoning. Fry until fragrant, but do not fry too long as the spices will burn.
  5. Add the eggs and mix until the eggs are cooked.
  6. Meanwhile,boil noodles from 2 maggi curry wrap. Do not boil for too long because the noodles will crumble when fried. Toss it and set it aside.
  7. Add the mustard greens. Cook to the level you like, glaze like mustard that withers a little.
  8. Add the noodles and stir until smooth. This is an important step so that the noodles and stir-fry ingredients are properly blended.
  9. While mixing the noodles, make sure the fire is raised so that, noodles can be deep fried. Flatten the noodles like this and turn over.
  10. Finally we add the tomato pieces. Mix it up. Fried maggi is ready to serve. Serve immediately, if you like, you can add cow's eye egg and lemon juice.
